Evergreen Yard Care Inc. is a family owned and operated lawn, landscape & snow management company based in Maine with two locations, South Portland Maine and Winslow Maine. It is a father son team running the company today. The company was founded back in 1984 by Rocky Gravel who at the time was a full time firefighter in Winslow. The company was kept small throughout the years until 2013-2014 when Kyle Gravel (Rocky’s oldest son) started to gain a bit of interest in the company. Doing around $120k in sales roughly at that time. Kyle then went to college in South Portland @ SMCC for new media/communications where he cut his teeth working for larger snow companies in the winter to get money for school. Realizing there was an opportunity to breach into the market in southern Maine Kyle & Rocky decided in 2018 to turn the company into an S corp and start doing work out of two locations. As Kyle built the southern location he would travel back to Winslow to keep moving things on that end. Eventually Kyle got so busy in Southern Maine that he needed to stay down full time and hire staff. Fast forward to 2024 and the company employs 16 people full time year round and does about 1.1 million in sales. Managing between 65-80 accounts 70% of which are commercial. Priding themselves on communication, transparency, integrity it has quickly made Evergreen one of the more trusted companies in Maine. With every passing year growing more and more and building a professional and dedicated team.
