Farmer and Snow Plower
Born and raised on Iowa farm land and moving snow when I could reach the tractor clutch. Operated equipment for many years but never owned the company. Until this past summer, I was the GM for a growing dealership group on the west coast. In May, we moved to Maine and are starting a farm from scratch. I’m heading into my first season of plowing for my own business. Business plan in place, equipment on hand, and marketing began this week. Day one of knocking on doors and some internet effort on GMB. Glad to discuss from my marketing and management background about controllables and profitability as well as share where I’m at with plans, what I’ve done, and field critiques about what I should be doing.
